Dr. Ukpai to empower over 500 Youths as he unveils Youth TECHPRENEUR BOOT-CAMP 1.0 in Abia.


The frontline governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People Party, NNPP in the 2023 Guber election in Abia State, Dr. Ukpai Iro Ukpai, has made another giant stride towards tackling the perennial challenge of youth restiveness, cultism, and some other social vices bedeviling Abia state due to unemployment.

The program is in line with Dr. Ukpai's vision to empower women, youths and the less privileged in the state and will be achieved through his innovative tech-program designed to empower over 500 Youths between the ages of 18 to 40years in all the senatorial zones of the state.


In a recent press release from Dr. Ukpai Campaign Organization DUCO, the group invited youths in Abia state to Join the Bootcamp selected to take place in Aba from the 26th of November, 2022.


According to the organization, the Bootcamp is a lifetime opportunity for the youths and a foretaste for Abians of what to expect from a Dr. Ukpai government starting May 29, 2023.

"We are targeting about 1000 youths per Senatorial zone to attend.

The Aba bootcamp of Nov 26 is for those in Abia South Senatorial zone." They said.

The Youth Techpreneurs Bootcamp series will hold in Aba, for the Abia South zone, then Ohafia for the Abia North zone, and finally in Umuahia for the Abia Central zone at yet-to-be-announced dates, the report said.


Already excited about the Bootcamp, the first of its kind by an Abia State Governorship Candidate since the creation of the  State,  Abia Youths has taken it to the social media with hashtags and likes

ABIA COMMUNITY DEMANDS REMOVAL OF SURVEYOR GENERAL OVER BOUNDARY DELINEATION EXERCISE

Ebe Abam community in Ohafia LGA, Abia state, has expressed their displeasure and dissatisfaction on the ongoing boundary Delineation Exercise spearheaded by Abia state government through the state surveyor general,  Christopher Nwanevu.
