2023: I'll Alleviate poverty in A'Ibom when elected, says Gov- Udoedehe



The Akwa Ibom NNPP Gov candidate, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe said that he would alleviate poverty and hunger in Akwa Ibom State, when elected Governor.


Senator Akpanudoedehe made this known in Ikot Ubo Akama, Edemeya, Ikot Abasi LGA, during a ward town-hall meeting on Thursday, 2nd September, 2022..


Senator Akpanudoedehe said he will launch an agricultural Intervention programme where he's proposing to acquire land from Communities across the state and engage the people of the area to cultivate the land for sustained food security in the state.


 Akpanudoedehe said if elected Akwa Ibom Gov, he will ensure Akwa Ibom State becomes the food basket of Nigeria.


The in-coming Gov also hinted the people of Edemeya he would establish a blue-sea economy, where fishing tools would be given to the people in the coastal parts of the state to fish. He further informed them that the blue-sea economy would be designed to tap all the sea resources within the state and this is capable of boosting our State's GDP for sustained wealth and prosperity.


The NNPP Gov candidate announced that he has proposed several programmes, policies and plans which would enhance the lives of the people and urged them not to be distracted nor deceived with five (5) to the (10) thousand naira by those who have no clear cut policies for the people.
