Edo Guber: Aikoriogie Emerges Winner of NRM Gubernatorial Primary Elections in Edo State


 Dr. Dennis Osahon Aikoriogie has emerged as the consensus candidate of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) gubernatorial primary elections in Edo State with delegates unanimous affirmation. The primary elections, which were held today Saturday in Benin City, saw Dr. Aikoriogie running unopposed.


With this victory, Dr. Aikoriogie is now set to represent the NRM in the upcoming Edo State 2024 gubernatorial elections in September. His uncontested win in the primary elections has cemented his position as the frontrunner for the party in the race for the governorship of Edo State.



This victory demonstrates the confidence and support that the NRM has in his leadership and vision for the State.



In his acceptance speech, Dr. Aikoriogie expressed gratitude to the party members for their faith in him and vowed to work tirelessly to bring positive change and development to Edo State. He also promised to run a clean and issue-based campaign leading up to the gubernatorial elections in September.



As the NRM gears up for the gubernatorial elections, all eyes will be on Dr. Dennis Osahon Aikoriogie as he prepares to take on his opponents and make his case to the people of Edo State.

ABIA COMMUNITY DEMANDS REMOVAL OF SURVEYOR GENERAL OVER BOUNDARY DELINEATION EXERCISE

Ebe Abam community in Ohafia LGA, Abia state, has expressed their displeasure and dissatisfaction on the ongoing boundary Delineation Exercise spearheaded by Abia state government through the state surveyor general,  Christopher Nwanevu. In a petition signed by over 30 members of the community, they're demanding the immediate sack of Mr. Nwanevu.  'We, the concerned people of Ndi Ebe Abam feel it is our collective responsibility to expose the unholy attitude of surveyor Nwanevu and equally demand for his immediate removal to face sanction following his interest and partisanship on this subject matter.  It is quite obvious that surveyor Nwanevu has lost the credibility and integrity to continue the exercise because of his selfish interest and compromise in discharging his duty, the community wrote.
