Dr UKPAI UNVEILS DEPUTY, INAUGURATE CAMPAIGN COUNCIL AND EMPOWERS ABIA YOUTHS

The governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People's Party in Abia State, Dr. Ukpai Iro Ukpai, on Saturday, inaugurated Doctor Ukpai Campaign Organization (DUCO), unveils his Deputy Governorship Candidate: Barrister Chiedozie Tony Josiah for the forthcoming governorship election in the state.

The council members included a former banker, renown lawyers, respected business men and women, technocrats, spiritual leaders and reputable Abians among others. The Unveiling which took place at Heritage Hotel, Aba, has Elder Chief Adolphus Echebiri Nwaeye, the former deputy Chairman of Labour Party in Abia State appointed as the chairman of the council.

Speaking at the inauguration of the committee, the frontline governorship candidate, informed members of the party and Abians that the selection of the principal officers of the campaign council was in line with his vision to bring freshness into Abia state political space.

 "By the help of the Spirit of God, I have gathered here under the Dr Ukpai Campaign Organization warriors, men and women who will help me in the political battle we have in front of us, the redemption of Abia State. I have among them men and women who understand the times, who know what Abia State needs to do, like the Isacharians (1 Chr 12v 32). These are great organizers, skilled and resourceful. They are swift and well accomplished. They have one thing in common, they want to see the return of God’s glory to Abia State; they desperately want to see Abians rejoice again. They are passionate about winning the 2023 elections in Abia State." He explained.

"By these men and women, the Lord has supplied warriors for battle. The least amongst them shall defeat a hundred and the greatest among them a thousand. By them, God has provided all the resources we need. There is joy in Abia State today."

It is my pleasure to present to Abians DUCO led by our Director General DUCO, Elder Chief Adolphus Echebiri Nwaeye, astute politician, leader of men, and servant of the Most high God. Elder Chief Nwaeye has over 30 years experience in politics and was until recently the Deputy Chairman of Labour Party in Abia State. I thank you all.

In keeping with his promise to set up an organized, well-articulated campaign organization that would drive his campaign and make sure NNPP wins the 2023 elections across board in Abia State, Dr Ukpai Iro Ukpai, released a comprehensive list of the members of his campaign organization, as well as his Manifesto, first of its kind in the heated race for Abia Lion House in 2023. A clear signal that he means business and is ready for the Rescue Abia Project, his ultimate goal.

The campaign council members were selected and inaugurated cutting across all the wards in the state,” the chairman explained

Addressing the members of the DUCO organisation, the Director-General of the campaign council, stated that the party is ready to bring a turn in Abia, come 2023

“2023 is a make or mare  election because of the condition of this state, Ukpai by this noble gesture of empowering Abia youths with technology has shown his capacity to making life easy for Abians, when elected into office. It’s our duty to convince the people, to see a better future for Abians rather than for ourselves.

“They’ve stolen all our patrimony. Our dignity was eroded. Our pensioners are dying by the day, our women were taken to the jungle and raped. This is an opportunity to build a better Abia.  It’s only good governance led by Dr. Ukpai that can bring back the kind of government we want,” he said.

He said, “We are going to work together to deliver on our mandate. This is a winning team. We are all generals in this war. Let us go and work as one. The suffering is too much in the state. By the grace of God, we shall send them away. If you vote for Ukpai and Josiah, he will need the support of our presidential candidate, His Excellency Engr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and those in the state Assembly. So let’s vote for all candidates of NNPP.”

The chairman of the campaign council, enjoined all members of the party to support the campaign council for success in the forthcoming general elections.
