Tension , Protest and Jubilation As Mbaka Is Removed From Adoration Ministry
The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka has reportedly been removed and replaced with Rev Father Anthony Amadi.
Worshippers at Adoration Ministry this Monday morning 3rd October 2022, attacked Rev Father Anthony Amadi the new director of the ministry who was posted to take over by Roman Catholic Bishop of Enugu, Bishop Onaga.
Rev Father Ejike Mbaka was recalled on Sunday 2nd October 2022 from months of suspension after dabbling into politics during the preaching of the Holy Gospel.
But preaching a sermon on Sunday, his first after months of suspension, Father Ejike Mbaka began again to preach politics instead of Christ, showing that he learnt nothing from his suspension and has not repented.
This informed Bishop Onaga to remove him from the Adoration Ministry and posted a non political priest, Rev Fr. Anthony Amadi to afford Mbaka opportunity to concentrate on his political calling.
Mbaka now been posted to the Monastery. The transfer is with immediate effect.
While his removal is received with joy and gladness by many Roman Catholic faithfuls who are jubilating, some members of the Adoration Ministry are protesting against it. They have vowed not to allow anyother priest succeed at the Adoration Ministry.
According to one of them, “all along, the Bishop has been trying to take over the Adoration Ministry. But I can assure you that no priest will succeed there. So long as Fr. Mbaka is not there, nobody will come there to worship."
